Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Xzerro — the web application at xzerro.com, the Xzerro mobile app, and its companion watch apps.

Last updated 2 September 2026

1. Agreement

By creating an Xzerro account or using any part of the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using Xzerro on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization to these terms.

You must be old enough to lawfully purchase and possess a firearm in your jurisdiction to use Xzerro, and in no case younger than 18.

2. What Xzerro does

Xzerro calculates ballistic trajectories and scope-turret corrections from the rifle, load, optic, and atmospheric values you supply, and generates printable zeroing targets from those results. It is a calculation and record-keeping tool.

Xzerro does not sell, transfer, or facilitate the transfer of firearms, ammunition, or components.

3. Your account

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter.
  • You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
  • Organization accounts: an owner or admin may invite members, and members may access firearms owned by that organization. Invitations are accepted only by the email address they were sent to.
  • Tell us promptly at support@xzerro.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorization.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Xzerro for any unlawful purpose, or to plan or cause harm.
  • Attempt to gain access to accounts, organizations, or data that are not yours, or to probe, scan, or test the security of the service.
  • Scrape, resell, or redistribute the service or its output as a competing product.
  • Upload content you do not have the right to upload, or that contains malware.
  • Circumvent subscription limits, including the number of firearm slots available on your plan.

5. Ballistic calculations — important limitations

Xzerro’s output is an estimate for educational and planning purposes. It is not a substitute for confirming your zero by live fire on a range.

A ballistic solution is only ever as good as its inputs and its model. Real impact points diverge from any prediction because of, among other things:

  • errors in the values you enter — muzzle velocity, ballistic coefficient, sight height, zero range, click value, or atmospherics;
  • lot-to-lot ammunition variation, barrel condition, and temperature sensitivity of propellant;
  • wind, changing air density, and terrain effects the model does not receive;
  • mounting, mechanical, or tracking error in the optic, including turrets that do not move the advertised amount per click;
  • the inherent approximation in any drag model.

You are solely responsible for the safe handling of firearms and for every shot you take. Always follow safe firearm-handling practice, verify your target and what is beyond it, obey all applicable laws, and confirm any correction produced by Xzerro before relying on it.

6. Subscriptions, slots and billing

Some features require a paid subscription. Plans are sold as a finite pool of firearm slots per billing period. Generating a zeroing target for a firearm activates that firearm and consumes one slot for the period.

  • Payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
  • Deleting an activated firearm does not return its slot for the current period. Slots reset when the period rolls over.
  • Re-printing a target for a firearm already activated in the current period does not consume an additional slot.
  • Prices may change. We will give notice before a change affects a renewal.

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support@xzerro.com.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of the data you put into Xzerro — firearm configurations, calculations, and any photographs you upload for sight-height measurement. You grant us only the licence needed to host, process, and display that data in order to operate the service for you.

We may use aggregated, de-identified data that cannot reasonably be linked back to you or your account to improve the service.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Xzerro available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Where a change materially reduces functionality you are paying for, we will give reasonable notice.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that its calculations will match your observed results.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xzerro and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the service — including any damage, injury, or loss connected to reliance on a ballistic calculation.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) USD 100.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Termination

You may stop using Xzerro and delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these terms, or if we are required to by law. On termination, your right to use the service ends; sections 5, 9, 10, and 12 survive.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and without limiting any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live. We would much rather resolve a problem directly — please write to support@xzerro.com first.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we make a material change we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Xzerro after a change means you accept the updated terms.
